What to include
Your business name, what you sell, and what you wish your current site did. That's enough to get started.

When you contact us via the form or email, we collect: name, email address, phone (if provided), business name, and any message content. If you become a client, we additionally collect billing information (handled by Stripe — we never store card numbers directly).
We use your information only to respond to your inquiry, deliver services, and send service-related follow-ups. We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties except where required to deliver service (e.g., domain registrars, hosting providers).
If you contact us or we reach out first, you can opt out at any time by clicking unsubscribe in any email or replying "unsubscribe". We will remove you from our list within 24 hours.
We keep contact information for 24 months after last interaction, then delete it. Client project files and communications are retained for 3 years for warranty and support purposes.

Project scope, deliverables, and fees are defined in the written quote and acceptance email for each client. These terms govern the general relationship between Local Roots Studio and the client.
Flat-fee projects are billed 50% on kickoff, 50% on launch. Payment is due within 7 days of invoice. Late payments may delay support and hosting continuation.
Upon full payment, all design assets, content, and code produced for the client are owned by the client. Local Roots Studio retains the right to display completed work in its portfolio unless explicitly requested otherwise.
30 days of free post-launch edits are included in all flat-fee packages. Beyond the included window, edits are billed hourly or via a separately agreed retainer.
Either party may cancel before kickoff for a full refund. Post-kickoff cancellation forfeits the 50% deposit to cover work completed.
